I used diskcopy to make installation floppies for system 7.0.1
When I load them into the Classic II I get a message telling me they are unreadable. I've haven't installed anything on this machine since I got it from a thrift store. Am I making a dumb mistake, or might there be a problem with the floppy drive?

I also have a Mac Classic II. I would recomend that you find System 7.1 on eBay and just buy it. It shouldn't cost you more than $15. However, I did the whole disk image thing to get a German version of System 7.1 on my Classic II and it worked fine for me. I don't know what the problem is, but a bad floppy drive could be the problem.
