Hi-
I'm about to embark on my honeymoon next week and realized I wanted to record some music I'll compose.
I'll be running one of my fabled 540C powerbooks and am looking for 68K software, like Peak 1.53 or something simular.
Thanks,
Eft

Check Hotline. That's pretty much the only place to find old 68k audio software.

If they're love songs, you might make it back from your honeymoon still married, if not, leave the freakin' 540c HOME!

*I'm just SOOOOO romantic!*

. . . and take a Duo, they're dirt cheap and it won't matter if somebody spikes it.

The Duo has a dodgy HDD & no sound input.
Love songs, blech! I'm talking hardcore noise!

Anywhere specific on Hotline, or blind search via Tracker-Tracker?
I tried to e-mail you because the qute says music expert, but it bounced.

Macromedia's SoundEdit 16 version 2 is going to be the best thing you can run on a portable 68k.

Can you point me to a link (or a hook-up)?

It should still be on Quadra's HL server, 68k.dyndns.org

SoundEdit has remained fundamentaly unchanged and should run just fine on your 540.

The problem with computers is they do exactly what you tell them to. Now where's that fuggin 'any' key?

Does the MediaVision PAS16 driver on gamba's link have SoundEditPro included?

it's older, but it might work well enough, dunno.

I put a stuft copy of SoundEdit 16 2.0 on my HL server, 840av.sytes.net, which, incidentally, is UP today! Download it while you can!

If it looks like it's going down, can someone scoot the file over to my buddy's server:
dutchman.2y.net

Thanks!

My server will probably be up until 5:30pm EST, which is five and a half hours from now. I don't have HL access here at work so if someone could download SE 16 2 off my server and upload it onto the server Eft37 specified, both of of would be...um...happy. Yeah.
