Hi- I'm about to embark on my honeymoon next week and realized I wanted to record some music I'll compose. I'll be running one of my fabled 540C powerbooks and am looking for 68K software, like Peak 1.53 or something simular. Thanks, Efteft@the37.com |

Check Hotline. That's pretty much the only place to find old 68k audio software.Official 68kMLA Music and NeXT Expert OpenStep Page at http://openstep.topcities.com/ Macs Liberated: SE (2), LC, IIsi, PB 145b, Quadra 700, 6100 (2), PB 5300, PowerMac 5400/200, Performa 6400/180 PCs liberated from Windoze: 3 |

If they're love songs, you might make it back from your honeymoon still married, if not, leave the freakin' 540c HOME! *I'm just SOOOOO romantic!* . . . and take a Duo, they're dirt cheap and it won't matter if somebody spikes it. jt ™. The Duo has a dodgy HDD & no sound input. Love songs, blech! I'm talking hardcore noise!

Anywhere specific on Hotline, or blind search via Tracker-Tracker? I tried to e-mail you because the qute says music expert, but it bounced.

Macromedia's SoundEdit 16 version 2 is going to be the best thing you can run on a portable 68k.666th poster and 666th thread-creator Mod of the Mac II series Forums Total 68K Macs liberated: 7 My Site: http://cine.sytes.net My Hotline Server: 840av.sytes.net

SoundEdit has remained fundamentaly unchanged and should run just fine on your 540.--- The problem with computers is they do exactly what you tell them to. Now where's that fuggin 'any' key? Macs liberated thus far: SE-30, Performa 6320CD and Duo 280c. |

I put a stuft copy of SoundEdit 16 2.0 on my HL server, 840av.sytes.net, which, incidentally, is UP today! Download it while you can! 666th poster and 666th thread-creator Mod of the Mac II series Forums Total 68K Macs liberated: 7 My Site: http://cine.sytes.net My Hotline Server: 840av.sytes.net

My server will probably be up until 5:30pm EST, which is five and a half hours from now. I don't have HL access here at work so if someone could download SE 16 2 off my server and upload it onto the server Eft37 specified, both of of would be...um...happy. Yeah. 666th poster and 666th thread-creator Mod of the Mac II series Forums Total 68K Macs liberated: 7 My Site: http://cine.sytes.net My Hotline Server: 840av.sytes.net
