Hi there,

I just bought a IIsi. I tested it at the store and it worked. This model have to be started from the keyboard; there is no switch anywhere I can see. Back at my place, I can't start it up again. I have an Apple Keyboard II (manufactured in 1991). There is a power button on my keyboard, but it did'nt power on the IIsi. Is there any other way to have it boot up ?

Thanks!

If it's an ADB keyboard, i.e. an Apple IIGS style, then it should power it...but I'm not 100% sure. Maybe something else has gone wrong?

Yeah, my cable was bad (bought it for 0.50$ !). I used another cable (an S-Video cable actually) and it work.

For the record :

- You need to short pin 2 and 4 to start up. If you hold the connector facing you with the plastic tab at the bottom, thats the pin at south-west and north-east.

- S-Video cable have exactly the same pinout as ADB and make a good replacement.
