I'm finally gonna have x.ii!!!! legally that is... I'm homeschooled and apple's giving away free copies of x.ii for free to educators.... I'm having my mom sign up... so ya

Unless they've changed the deal, home schools are specifically excluded, there's a thread with the links over on AF. "good idea" or some such, sorry to break the news while you're celebrating.

heh. don't even try and run 10.2 if you have a G3 (no, not just beige ones...all g3's have problemswith 10.2)... just look at my sig!

Nope on my G3 iMac I've had no troubles with it.

I'm hoping to get some RAM for the 7300 and install on there.

well the cisco instructor/it admin secretly ordered a copy for a teacher who is a windows user and then she gave the X copy to me!!!! i beat the system!

I have a science teacher who got his copy of X.2 before the free dealie, maybe I'll ask him if he could order that and let me have it... I have partly enough RAM 96 MB..
