I finally did an inventory so I could introduce myself. I've been stocking up on Macs for about 3 years, I think I have liberated just about all of them in my area. I especially like the compact macs, my goal is to save 100 of them from the enemy.

I live in Sault Ste. Marie Michigan, twice a year just across the border they have a computer recycling event the next one is set for this Saturday. The prices are always way too high but I usually manage to save a couple compacts from the scrap pile. I would love to set up a computer museum so the little guys could actually get used once in a while, but untill I do anything Macintosh will have a safe place to live in my house.

My collection so far:
128k-1
512k-1
Plus-6
SE-8(one has an SE/30 board)
Classic-4(one in original box)
Classic II-2
Color Classic-1
IIcx-2
IIci-3
IIsi-2
LCII-1
LCIII-4
Quadra 660av-1

Power Macs:
6100, 8150, 7500, Power Curve, G4 400, and a G4 dual 1 gig

Apple //:
IIe-3, IIc-2, and one lonely gs.

MISC:
Just about everything you can think of I have in a box in my basement.

Oooh, NICE! And to think, if i was able to get (and had) a drivers' license when i was 15 years old, i would have been able to get that Centris 660av that went under the hammer back a couple of years ago, or the Big@$$BoxLot of SCSI drives! But no no no, the big bad PAF prevented it, because they were scared it would all be dead.

Welcome aboard!! Its nice to keep getting new members, expecially with such a background.

Now here comes the now-standard mail ramble, because I don't think its mentioned anywher else. Anyhue, I have a mail server set up that can ALMOST give you a 68kmla email addy.; But unfortuneatly ~Coxy cannot set it up as so, so until then, email would be: username@68kmail.no-ip.org
All for free to replace .Mac, just one of those welcoming things I do now.

Have lots of fun here and visit often. Foetoid should have made that WE'RE only partially insane!!

There is only one path and that is the path that you take, but you can take more than one path.

So you have the mail server active? I've sorta stayed out of the loop on this one.... I'm interested to learn more.

Yeah, the mail server is working great! Me and catsdorule are already using it and if anyone else wants in, I can set them up an account. It comes with *unlimited* storage etc, as well as imap, pop, and webmail access!
