i just got one of these things on ebay. i was gonna put it in my performa 630, but that thing crapped out on me, so i think i might put it in my LCIII. i found the drivers at the farallon site (now proxim. whatever) but i couldnt find any info on it. this thing has 2 rj45 ports, i'm just wondering what the heck i'm suppoed to do with 2 of them... is one in and one out or something?-- Performa 630 LCIII SE |

ya, I am wondering too, I work at a place with various AIOs with CS cards with 2 ports, is it for daisy chaining or summat (the continuation of LocalTalk, networking w/o hubs)?? I think that he was talking about there being 2 RJ45 jacks on the card, which is 10BT, I had a card that was like that too, and I thought it odd for having a 10BT card with 2 ports. I do not think that it is coax, and I thought that it was a last ditch effort to relate to LocalTalk or PhoneNet, ie ethernet without hubs, thus simplifying the networking for the beginner, just daisy chain all of your macs together and bango, you are done.just my theory. CCC PS, does anyone remember Waterloo MacJanet? the perfect 68K alternative to Mac Manager.
