Ok, I need a laptop more functional than my Duo 230.

I have a Newton 2100, and I want to be able to connect them via IR, as well as print to my DeskJet 340 printer.

An early G3 that can run OS X would be AWESOME, but if not, I'll survive.

here's the deal: I'd rather trade than pay, since I'm very short on cash. I have a few things of interest, and I can also peice together quite a bit.

Tell me what YOU want, and we can negotiate. I have a few systems/parts that I'll offer up to start. This is NOT a comprehensive list of my supplies.

PM 9600 (no RAM... maybe up to 64MB)

iMac (Tray load, 6GB HD, Rev C I think, 64MB RAM, bad monitor)

128MB PC100 RAM

PM 7200

Is it the CRT thats dead on the imac? Also good luck trading, but I have a nice Lombard 400 w/DVD and all that stuff you can have for $700, or maybe $550 or so with that imac. What color is the imac?

Forgot to say I'd like the 9600 in trade. Also, I have a color stylewriter 4500 I can throw in to even up the trade a little.

Alas, even $550 is beyond me, and I can't trade for the Grape iMac that DOES work (see my other thread) because I need to take that money and put it against my credit card. My ex-girlfriend had me buy it for her, and was gong to make payments to me for it.. but then about 2 weeks later had her dad buy her a Winblows laptop and told me to take it back (We were going out then).

the iMac is greenish... no IR on the front. It's the RT that's dead.. might only be a fuse. you can plug the video out of the Mobo into another monitor and it works.
