I almost got hit by a car!!!!!

I needed to cross a road, so i waited for all the cars to go and everything before crossing. Then, i'm halfway accross the road, when all of a sudden this freakin' Ford Falcon comes flying around the corner at a million miles an hour!!!! I ran, and juuuuuuuuust dodged the car by 30 centimetres. Last year I was crossing this uber busy road in town (jsut two lanes, but busy) and traffic was clear, only car coming was one that was goign to turn behind me (i was on one of those island in the intersection) So i walk out and as soon as i look back that way, she had switched lanes and ran smack into me about 25 mph.
