Photoshop 4 is the last 68k version, and will run well on a Quadra 650. Since you have an FPU, you can run all the standard filters, even the rendering ones like lighting effects and texturizer. Photoshop 4 is actually a very powerful graphics tool, as it hasn't changed dramatically between 4 and 7. I suppose now it's more of an image-creation tool than simply an image manipulation tool, though.You don't neccessarily need 128MB of RAM, even 32MB would be enough for PS as long as it's the only app open. Of course, maxing it out can't hurt. It's also good to have a scratch drive that's separate from your system drive to help speed PS tasks up. Even an old, slow, 200MB hard drive you have lying around would make a decent scratch drive, though a 7,200 rpm and SCSI-3 or faster drive is preferred. You can also get one of those Nubus Photoshop accelerators, which act as a second processor specifically for PS tasks. 666th poster and 666th thread-creator

Look at my ftp, a version of photoshop is online for download. Unsure what version it is, it will iether be 3 or 4.Citon x600.
