Those bastards always seem to fetch $35! Kind of a lot, when you can get the same sound out of Yamaha or other speakers for about $5 or so, but it's all about that rainbow logo...

Only $35? Dang. I was hoping they went for more. I guess I won't sell my extra pair.

Yeah, I've never seen 'em go for more than about $35...you weren't really expecting more than that, were you?

$35? I got mine for free! As far as speakers go, I like the speakers in my 6400 better. What's so special about these?

I have sold some on ebay before and they do fetch a premium it seems. They are well built and are heavy suckers. They have rca inputs on the back to hook to the old external cd rom drives. They have the quality of small bookshelf speakers, but they are old. You are better off buying a new pair. There are some things that have the Apple logo on them that don't make sense.

I'm not sure you can get a better pair of new ones for the same money if they cost under $40 shipped. I've bought two pairs of speakers in the $30-$40 price range that sound fine, and have RCA inputs for use with my PowerCD (now with a stereo and VCR). But it was a very rude discovery when I found that only one pair had a headphone jack and neither had balance controls.

And to think I could have bought a dozen pairs for $2 each from the school district sale... maybe I'll go bug the computer heads there and bed them to give me a pair from the storage closet...

Hey JT: Is there a particular pattern or reason you switch to being an Albanian?

Good luck scoring some!

Sometimes it has to do with my being away from the shop, sometimes it has to do with bollixed cookies or which browser I'm running and at times I'm just feeling more Albanian than usual.

I found some good piccies to post here until I update my links project. Great PowerCd shots in the second link with the AppleDesign Speaker II rev. pics!

I like this shot, iWant almost all of the peripherals that are in those photos. Dig the white zip, all of the optical drives, and the ext. hard drive.
