I am looking for the correct information to place in the GUI of Basilisk II so that Mac OS sees my DVD drive as an authentic Apple CD-ROM drive. There is an option to replace the Vendor ID of a current SCSI device with another type. This would seem most usefull in my case where I want my Macintosh to really think it has a real CD from Apple.

So far I place the Vendor as "Apple" and the Product Name as "12X CD-ROM" but I am pretty sure that is not the actual information supplied by Apple. Any takers as to what the coreect information is?

Thanks.
