I have a couple boards I could canibalize, but not unless it's worth it for me. The boards still work. I don't think I need a Q610 AND a C610, though. How much are they worth to you?

unsolder is such an unwieldy word, most people I know just use the term pull, the meaning being implicit. unless, of course, they have a superiority complex or they're speaking to someone who's clueless.

that said, please don't think of taking one from a working board, isn't that sort of antithesis to the mla? (it's ok if it has more than one slot and you don't need the extra.) I just want to throw a second one into my #2 performa.

I've previously gotten slots (and a lot of other good stuff) at one of those "you dig through crates of various parts till you find what you need" electonics warehouses. they charged me a buck for them. the place is an hour and a half away, so it's not really worth going out there unless I'm at a job in the area again.

so, I don't know if a dollar or two plus a little more for a padded envelope and postage is worth it to you, let me know.
