Hi,This magnificent beast that Apple released in the early 90's, many years before large CRTs were on the PC, was NOT compatible with all Macs. Some required Video Card (NuBus) and some just could just dream being hooked to this screen. Which models were they ? I got a IIsi which needs a card, but what about LC2, LC3 ? or older like SE ? Check the monitor/CPU compatability charts on gamba. 16" is the max. res. for many mid-range Macs, the 630 series and the Duo MiniDock most notably among my systems.jt ™. Out of the Macs listed in your sig, your 630 and 605 can plug straight in without needing any special adapters or NuBus cards. However, it is impossible to run one on an LCII (Performa 400), unless you are lucky enough to score a PDS video card, few of which still exist, IIRC. I've been looking for one for ages. Also, if you are curious, yes, an LCIII will also plug straight in, and is a supported configuration by Apple. I remember when we got our LCIII that Apple was touting the LCIII as a midrange consumer Mac that supported large monitors such as the Portrait and 16" Colour Display.-------------------------- Give your dreams a chance.™ - Apple in the mid '90s Warrior maclover5 68k Macintosh Liberation Army Number of 68ks Liberated: 6
