I'm looking for a 1 gig external drive for my LC575. Would it work if I found one, and how much would it cost (in CDN)?

you may want to post this in the "Trading Post" forum so some of the guys and gals here that have stuff to trade/sell could take a look for you. Probably get more hits that way. The other thing would be to check on eBay where a lot of us enjoy the shopping. If you can't find an external the size you need, you might want to replace the internal one. IIRC, the LC575 uses an IDE interface for the internal drive, so if you had to go that way it shouldn't be too hard to find.

The 575 has a SCSI internal HDD, while the 580 uses IDE.

Doh, one LC model off, damn. Thanks Coxy, for catching that. That makes it simpler then. If we don't have one for you here, I know the guy on eBay that does for good deals all the time.
