So I will have all these three machines.

I decided to buy the duo because it has Microsoft word 6 & os 7.6 I think but anyhow the software seems attractive.

I intend to put the software from the duo onto the Performa.

now my Performa had a dead floppy(it mangled disks!), but now it has the floppy from my Quadra!

I tried to put the system software from the Performa onto a floppy for back up purposes. The Performa wont boot from the floppy, y not?

My quadra has os 8.1, now shall I put os 8.1 onto my duo?

I am thinking not because my duo only has 12 meg of ram.

How can I put os 7.6 from the duo onto my Quadra ?

I shall put the os onto my second hard drive on my Quadra? & then use drive select to enable me to choose which os my Quadra boots up.

Quadra 840av, 128MB ram, 2MB vram, cd drive(caddy),1 caddy!:-)
1.2 gig drive, 4.23 gig drive
3 monitors 15" & 14" & 14" os 8.1 56k modem,
Stylewriter 1200, Umax 1220s scanner

Your PERFORMA is upgrade or no ?
When you upgrade the speed processor of a performa , a troubleshooting appears on the floopy ( a ROM problem ).This upgrade modify the pencil speed.Verify the frequenty of your processor with gauge tools.
