I got a Mac Portrait Display (M1030) and am having trouble getting the ports on the back to work. Any trick that I might be missing? A driver perhaps?mark |

Aren't they just three ADB female connectors daisy chained to turn one ADB cord feed from the CPU into sockets for two more?jt  ™.

Yeah, that's what I thought. I have tried it with an 840av and a 6115, and while the monitor work beautifully, I can't seem to get the ports to work. Looks like its time for surgery...mdh

Don't take it apart yet! I'll check mine out when I get a chance Tuesday if fw or the maniac haven't tested theirs first. I've got a bunch of work to do so I can't dig around for cables or tear down the production setup ATM!Meanwhile download the Service and OG manuals: http://home.earthlink.net/~gamba2/manuals.html The Signal Input Assy has the Video input connector and the daisy chain for the ADB if I'm reading the drawings correctly there's no wiring for ADB other than the daisy chain traces on the input connector PCB. If your monitor works, DON'T BREAK IT! An ADB splitter is a lot less expensive than anything you'll need to fix your portrait!  jt ™.

Somehow, someway the ports started working again. Don't know how it happended, but I am not complaining. Anyhow, thanks for the help.mdh
