Cool it looks like we have a logo! I like it better then the old one, do others agree with me?-Danny Forum: http://www24.brinkster.com/catsdorule1/ "Windows(win-doze): A 32-bit extension to a 16-bit graphical shell of an 8-bit operating system originally coded for a 4-bit processor by a two-bit company that can't stand one bit of competition." |

Nope! The old one was far more elegant, IMHO.jt ™. Trash Hauler: call sign: eight-ball C.O. AC-130H SpecOps 68kMLAAF |

I didn't even notice the log in/out logo until you mentioned it. I only use that once a month when MacWasher does it's job to clean up the internet Cache"One slip and down the hole we fall" Check out the new forum on the block at: http://www22.brinkster.com/originalstryder/db/ |

I liked the new logo, the first couple of times but this hasn't lasted.I don't like Apple that much is the first issue. But I really liked the old mono logo because.......... It fitted in with the "army" theme, it looked like a stenciled serial no./ident. I cannot feel as happy posting now :-( It feels like I'm posting for pro-Apple & it seems to me that 68kmla has lost a little of it's own unique & incidental, "seperate from Apple" feeling. If Apple were still supporting thier 68k, low end machines then would we have these forums?
Don't get me wrong there are alot of positive things about Apple. Personally I am not here to support Apple Mac, I am here to lavish myself in realising the dreams that I had (circa early 90's) when all I had was a lowly STfm with 1 meg of ram & only a floppy drive & my old 68k macs are great for that. shaktiman

I agree regarding the login/out logo - it looked better in black and white.68k ParaMedic |

Not that my opinion would matter that much, but I liked the old one as well. It did seem to be more, ahem - modern?Macs Liberated: 9 - 6400/180, 660AV, 636CD, LCIII+, LCII (2), Classic II, Classic and SE. Yeah, I hate that friggin beach ball too... |

No get rid off the fuzzy effect. It looks shoddy. Sorry it's the truth. Color is good, but isn't that an Apple trademark? Watchout! Apple's legal department is notorious! /Mr Lynn Curator of: SE (6.0.4), SE w. 020 accelerator (6.0.8), SE w. no HD, IIfx (7.1), IIci (bad HD); plus various PPCs in family (blue G3/350 is main Mac these days). |

Would anyone find it out of sorts if I were to do a new logo and log-in/out button? I've been wanting to but never bothered. We should use the original apple logo (witht the words "apple" in 80's text coming out of the apple) or something like that, I always thought it looked really cool and retro-ie and simple.~The Penguin with his small increment of money | Captain, Intelligence Operations / Space Cowboy | There is only one path and that is the path that you take, but you can take more than one path. | 68k.torpedobird.com <-- Official Hotline Server | |
