I just picked up two boxed AppleTalk System Connector Kits from the giant crap hole of computer stuff on campus. One was still in the origional shrink wrap! (I was saddened to open it. Oh well.) So now I have my Classic connected to my Power Mac 6500, and the 6500 connected to my G4 via ethernet. I think there are a few more opened kits; hopefully I swipe them too on Monday.It took almost an hour to backup the Classic's hard drive (40MB) to the 6500. Progress is great. (If anyone is interested in helping me trouble shoot a networking problem, I'll elaborate in Baloon Help.) |
