Hello I'm living in Canada and I can't find any kind of Canadian or UK dictionary for AppleWorks, I'm sure I'm not the only one that spells colour and honour with a 'u', 'thru' as through and 'nite' as night.

Some help, suggestions?

I haven't used AppleWorks in years, but can't you create/define your own dictionary?

Hang on, I think my version of CWO 4 came with a "Queen's English" dictionary...

Actually, no, it came with "US English"!

I can put my user dictionary somewhere if you'd like, it's probably got every variation of (u), and about every technical/scientific/technological word I've ever used...

Actually, those terms weren't in common usage in the time I was stuck on ym 7200.
It does have just about every spelling of "Aaaargh!" you can think of, including "Argh!", "Aargh!", "Aaargh!" and "AAARGH!" It's good fun looking through all the things you inadvertantly hit "Learn" to during spellcheck.
"68KMLA" is in there, as is "Gannondorf", "Triforce", "Volvagia", "Zelda", and "Zork" . It was my fanfic-writing brother, I swear! Hmm, a few swear words, too.

In other news, it has every chemical name and formula I typed in essays for two years, could be handy for students.

Actually, I do have a UK English dictionary, in the CWO folder! Silly me.
They'll be uploaded shortly.

OK, the UK English and my User dictionaries are availiable for those who care.

It's a 120 KB .sit, which should work fine in CWO 4, with probably translation/interpretation required for other versions.
