I am bored. must have sheet metal. must make 12 AA battery pack for PB1xx.does paralell or series add voltage... I dun remember. THNx

wiring in series increases voltage
wiring in parallel increases current at same voltageIIRC  jt  ™.

Actually, from the ASCII art it looks like you're wiring three sets of four batteries, giving you only 4.5 V but a longer discharge time.What you want is:

You've, gotta use </code> tags, even with a monospaced font. I think ~coxy's right, it looks more like 4.5v to me the way you have it, see if this one makes more sense? _______________

edited in the + signs for clarity, I think this is the same as the way I did it, but oriented the way ~coxy intended to do it. His looks like 4.5v to me also. jt ™.
