Alright! I was kinda down because I forgot to bring anything for lunch today and had no money to get something, but lucky for me management sprung for pizza and sodas for everybody! They got a ton of it, too...there's hawaiian, vegetarian, straight pepperoni, cheese...you name it. God I love this job...I sure am gonna miss this place when the project ends on October 25th. 666th poster and 666th thread-creator Mod of the Mac II series Forums Total 68K Macs liberated: 7 My Site: http://cine.sytes.net My Hotline Server: 840av.sytes.net

Comcast's modem upgrade project, it ends on October 25th, after which I probably won't have a job anymore. There are two possibilities, though. Cox cable (San Diego broadband company) is planning to have a project here at Bertelsmann that I may be able to get on, or I might just go work at an Apple Store for the holiday season rush.666th poster and 666th thread-creator Mod of the Mac II series Forums Total 68K Macs liberated: 7 My Site: http://cine.sytes.net My Hotline Server: 840av.sytes.net

lol yeah!Cox is planning to have Bertelsmann do all their phone customer service/tech support, but are merely waiting for the Comcast and Lightning-Serve (Michigan-only broadband) projects to move out. So, assuming that Bertelsmann likes me (which it seems they do), I should be able to get another gig when Cox moves in. If not, no big deal, I'll still have made enough money to get my DP G4 rig and will be able to spend more time doing freelance design work! 666th poster and 666th thread-creator Mod of the Mac II series Forums Total 68K Macs liberated: 7 My Site: http://cine.sytes.net My Hotline Server: 840av.sytes.net Edited by - cinemafia on 27 Sep 2002 19:45:03
