I'm interested in that Palm- you mentioned that the screen is cracked, but how bad is it? Is any text readable (so you know the unit itself still works), or is it dead? Also, what can you tell about that QuickCam? Thanks, SpaceBoyAppleBASIC FOREVER! The screen is cracked so that it doesn't respond to any tapping. What do you need to know about the QuickCam?Wonko The Sane Engineer-in-training 3 Macs Liberated "You can't possibly be a scientist if you mind people thinking that you're a fool."- Wonko The Sane |

Yes, I'm interested. Does it have anything on it? I'm looking for a PC drive, btw. SpaceBoy: The Connectix QuickCam seems to be PC-only, with the min sys req being a 100 Mhz pentium proc, 16 MB of RAM, Win95, 10 MB of HD space, a soundcard (for audio), and an internet connection. It has a USB cable attached to the camera. It has drivers and M$ Netmeeting software, plus "videophone" software that's probably obsolete or out of use by now.

I also need the SCSI cable (the short, dark gray one) that will allow my Duo to be used in SCSI disk mode.Wonko The Sane Engineer-in-training 3 Macs Liberated "You can't possibly be a scientist if you mind people thinking that you're a fool."- Wonko The Sane |

It's a WD Caviar 10gig. It was originally in a PC, but I reformatted it for Mac when I put it in my G4 tower. I don't think there's much on there, but whatever is on there is Mac. What's a fair price? $20 plus shipping?

Do you think it would be able to work in an older PC (original pentium)? Or would the ps not be able to power it?Wonko The Sane Engineer-in-training 3 Macs Liberated "You can't possibly be a scientist if you mind people thinking that you're a fool."- Wonko The Sane |

Wonko, check the documentation on that PC's BIOS. Depending on how old it is, it may not be able fully to support a drive that big. Power shouldn't be an issue. It was in a celeron when I pulled it to use in my mac, so I'm assuming it's pretty standard. Check the bios tho, your PC might not be able to deal with drives bigger than 2 or 8 gig. In any case, if Wonkothesane doesn't want it, it's still available. Let's see if he wants it.

Ok, it's been a couple days. Who wants the drive? 10gig WD 5400rpm IDE. Pulled from a G4 tower after being pulled from a PC. $20 plus shipping. Paypal accepted.
