Here is a new little vHack I've been working on, which I call the carPod. It's a glorified version of the iPod, built for a car. I hope to have a spoof website (featured after Apple's site) put together in the near future. Feedback appreciated.

Features:
* Slot loading CD drive - to play your favorite CD's not in encoded yet. Have an MP3 CD? No problem, with the onboard decoder.
* 40GB ATA HD - 8,000 songs in your car.
* Onboard FireWire Uplink - Have an iPod with songs, and want to add some to your carPod library? Not a problem since you can connect the iPod to the carPod, and using the carPod Manager Utility, transfer select playlists to/from your carPod to your iPod. Also serves as an iPod charging dock.
* Onboard MP3 Encoding Technology - On the go, but have CD's of music to rip to your iPod? The carPod will automaticly download all music tracks and convert them into MP3 files in a new playlist on the carPod, within a few touches.
* One Touch Equalizer - Rather than fiddle with menus and buttons to get to your equalizer settings, the "EQ" button will quickly cycle through built in Equalizer Presets.
* Optional Airport Capabilities - using modified Rendezvous technology, your carPod can interface with your inhouse network Airport Base Station** and transfer select playlists between the carPod and your home system.
