Yay!!!!!!!!!! My parents left home yesterday, and left me here, so i could have a night all to myself. PAF has been breached successfully, and at 1 pm last night, I was out in the living room, listening to MP3s on the stereo, with the iMac connected to the TV, also, with my handy-dandy Apple Presentation System, surfing the Forums on my PowerBook 1400. Its been great, apart from when my iMac decided it wanted to have a little screwup, which is discussed in my other thread. I almost got all my stuff off the 6 gig in the LC630, too....until the 630 decided to crash after it had copied 4.76 gig of the 5.95 gig. Today I'm gonna see if the stuff it didn't copy was very critical, and if it wasn't, i'll just format n partition 'er so it can be the way i want it to be set up for the 630. I havent had a chance to try and get on AIM yet, but I am working on it. Parents will be back by about 1:30 this afternoon probably, which will be in about 2 hours. In that amount of time, I'll get the place back to normal, to avoid violating PAF regulations.

Oh, and my parents don't have me studying these holidays, either.

what!! iMac hooked up to your TEEBEE??? i won't even ask! (how'd you do it?)

once, i took the quaddie up to my paren'ts 36" television :) but after a while, a big green dot grows in the middle, and at that time i didn't have cables long enough to sit on the couch with a good keyboard and mouse

and exactly WHERE do you have room for 5.95 GB of STUFF??? i'd LOVE to have a HDD bigger than 4 GB (the iMac) but often, i'll store the entire HDD of one of my 68ks on it :)

Have a good time @home!!!

1. I have an Apple Presentation System, which connects to the DB-15 port inside the bottom of the iMac (all tray loaders have this), and converts the video signal to a composite or S-Video signal for a TV. Got it for free from you-know-where. Great lil box.

2. I've upgraded the iMac with a 40 gig HD. The old 6 gig now lives in the LC630.
