Performa & os 6

shaktiman Senior Member United Kingdom 1226 Posts	Posted - 24 Sep 2002 : 05:23:46 I want to install os 6 onto my Performa 400. I tried to download os 6 from the Apple website. I downloaded & tried to unstuff. I was told that I needed "unstuff deluxe" I think that was what it was called. I have tried to download unstuff deluxe b4 but found it to be only ppc? how can I get os 6 onto my performa? It's on the server, in any case. You know what, though? I don't think you can run 6 on that mac. It shipped with 7.0. I need to get it upgraded now :-) Performa 400 has; 4 meg ram hd floppy 80 meg hard drive 512 meg vram! I bought the Performa with a monitor & stylewriter II printer, for Ł36. I just made Ł30 from the printer so I got the Performa cheap enough! I want for it, hmmm two 4 meg 30 pin 100 ns simms.
