The LC arrived! wheee - last of the pizzaboxes (for me - yes I know I'm going backwards :D. It's a little cutie, what with the 2 drive openings at the front... little 40mb HD and 4mb ram... and very little else!. This is the machine that started me liking macs all those years ago*snif* -reminisce- :D dana Quadra 605 Obsessions

What is it about getting a 2nd hand machine, pulling it to pieces, polishing everything (motherboards look great with Mr.Sheen!) and sticking it back together all cleaned n tidy that's just so... addictive?:) dana Quadra 605 Obsessions

Ewwwwwww!!!! Pizza STINKS! Especially when the other kids in the dorm eat pizza and then come and play Spectre on your Classic II and stick their hands, coated with pizza oil, all over your nice clean ADB Keyboard II!!! Ick! But yeah. Glad to hear you finally got your LC. Does it have dual floppy drives? If it does, PUT A 12" RGB MONITOR ON TOP OF IT!!! I don't mind the smell of fresh pizza - specially the seafood one from a lil italian restaurant here - covered in olive and anchovies and... oooahhh... it's not dual-floppy, but I'm sure I could force one of the existing spares I have in there somehow - that's a plan in the end :). The front piece just clips out (and as is typical apple - the mechanism for holding it in is so overengineered - but so simple!). I have a 12" rgb here that would suit it just fine - only problem is it loses picture after about 20 minutes. dana Quadra 605 Obsessions
