Best Apple dealer in town (state, country, world...): the computer store, http://www.thecomputerstore.com/ with stores in Corvallis (for Oregon State University students,) Eugene (for University of Oregon students,) Portland, Tigard (suburb of Portland, for those who live on the West side of town,) Salem (gotta keep them lawmakers in Macintoshes, don't we?) and Seattle. Phone number for main store (Portland) is 503-238-1200. (For the record, the computer store (that's its name, all lowercase, in the Apple's original corporate font) is the reason that Portland will not get an 'Apple Store' anytime soon. the computer store might as well be an official Apple Store. Yeah, there are other autorized Apple dealers in town... But why?

Ok the map is ready to be uploaded! it totals in to about 10.9mb because of all the images, it still has a few rough edges to it and a few members still need to be added but it's ready! You know if I keep refining it it will never be done!

Columbia, MO

Local Apple Dealers:

Computer Spectrum at Brady Commons on the MU Campus
(573) 882-2131
Lots of Mac stuff there, but the people aren't always the most knowledgeable.

MMCS - see http://www.mmcsinfo.com/
1111 North Providence Rd.
Columbia, MO 65201
573/874-6800
Everything is WAY overpriced here - they have Mac software from the early 90's new in box for original price! Not the friendliest people either.

Never been here. I need to go.

Colours of Australia?
Flag colours: red, white and blue, but that may be taken...
Green and gold is a good bet.

Lookin' good, on the next rev, just list Philadelphia as being in Pennsylvania before chi-chi finds out she lives in New Jersey!

You must be going insane dealing with all the detail involved in this project, great work, comrade!

Verrrrrry cool, Cats! Great job!
For whatever it's worth, the map looks a little... odd... when viewed in Mozilla, but that may change as the browser matures.
Anyway, keep up the great work!

Great map!

One correction: Our town is FRAMINGHAM, not 'Farmingham'.

It's a common error.

The maps a tad disjointed & heavy on the graphics.

I am impressed & you are a talented young man.

when you zoom to UK you see London & Nottingham. I am curious as to why.

Birmingham, Manchester & a few other cities are larger than Nottingham.

I am origionally from Derby, 10 miles south-west(more west) of Nottingham.

You may want to put Derby instead of Nottingham, I say this because I have loyalties to Derby.

But I would point out that Derby is Englands most central city.

The map is great & you should be commended, do we get medals?

If you really want to know I got the international maps from MapQuest because I don`t have any international maps so thats another problem with getting Australia up, they don't have very good map of Australia.

MEMPHIS TENNESSEE...

i will kill the first person who makes an Elvis joke... i daresay 80% of Memphians have never frickin SEEN Graceland (for the uninformed: its Elvis' phat late-70's mansion)

Its a big tourist trap, but people come from everywhere to see it, and they leave Elvis messages written on the walls around the house... I've been down there and there's even messages in Hindu and Russian...

lots of the MLA seem to be in California and in the New York/ NorthEast area, then in a little "band" running between the 2 areas... (at least our US members)

maybe a list catagorized by the state/province then city we live in.... (or equivalent type system for our Europe, Asia, Australia and other members

Applebits isn't bad but the prices are a bit random, a few good deals but a log of stuff goes for less than half the price on eBay regularly.

There is also a guy called Ray in Williamstown who has no official shop but has a 4 bedroom house full of 68k Mac bits and some early powermacs I beleive. ou'd probably have to ask if he minded being included as he is not a full time shop and uses his home phone number for business.

The member map seems to have issues with Safari or the close up pages on Australia are blank, eg. when you click on Melbourne or Sydney nothing appears in the new page.
