Heh, if anyone can answer this one, you guys can. I've got the scanner plugged in and turned on, but the only thing it works with is SCSI Probe (ie. it appears on the SCSI bus, and doesn't conflict any IDs.)I've got Ofoto 2.0.1 (I think) installed, and Scanner extension 4.3, on a pristine 7.6.1 System. Ofoto, however, puts up a message saying words to the effect of "No scanner found." What's going on? ~Coxy - Leader, Tactical Operations Unit Mayor of NuBus City v3.0

Dunno, sounds strange, check the termination at both ends. Try active termination if you have a device with it. Scramble the positions of the devices on the chain? Is there a preference for the scanner's SCSI ID in the Scanner software? Load order of extensions? Extension conflict? You've already ruled out the easy ones . . . =8-/ jt ™. Actually, I agree that the cause is probably termination. I forgot to bring my friggin DB25 terminator today, though, we've only got Centronics pass-thru ones at uni. (And yes, I have tried one...)~Coxy - Leader, Tactical Operations Unit Mayor of NuBus City v3.0
