I just got a Kensington TurboMouse 4.0 and an ADB Wacom 6x8" drawing tablet both for $2!!! It doesn't have a pen, though, nor the disk with the drivers. I also got a pair of Honyu Explorer-1 NES controllers, both brand new/unopened in the box for $5. They're basically a knowck-off of the original NES advantage. Neat-o!

Cool find, but...

Thinking of the NES advantage cracks me up.

There are a couple of external floppy drives at a thrift store around where I live. One is definately 800K, the other is unmarked (800K?). Might pick one up for the Fat Mac or to fix the second drive in my Mac II. Wish the 800K drives hummed like the 400K ones.

Well, if you have extra internal high Density floppy drives around, you can open up the 800k Floppy caseing and swap the drive, and you end up with an external SuperDrive.

That has to be the BEST hack I've done at my lab, since I can swap the drive between all the SEs, SE/30's, Classic II, and II's.

As for the NES, I've been figureing out how to write a set of drivers for a PowerGlove, and use it w/ a Mac. It's ALOT of work tho.

I would have done that to mine ages ago, but I need it for my 512ke, and you can't use a SuperDrive on a 512ke.
