We get alot of American programs here in the UK.

I watch a cartoon called "The Cramp Twins", which I find absoloutly absorbing & hillarious.

In the cartoon are 2 twins, Lucian & Wayne Cramp. The opening shows the birth, Lucian comes out first, all pink, they smack him & he cry's. Then Wayne comes out, they smack him & he remarks "mmmmmmmmm" as though the smack caused pleasure.

They live in a town with swamp next to it(Florida?) & in the town is a factory, where the dad works.

The factory produces pollution, which can sometimes rain down as a soapy substance. This is harmfull & the workers at the factory have built up an immunity. The ppl who live in the swamp are not immune and the pollution causes rashes on thier skin.

There is also a sewer where you can dip your toes & this makes your toe nails pink.

Lucian is friends with Tony(a swamp person) who is very short. (I think the pollution may have caused his stunted growth) & Lucian crusades for less pollution.

Wayne refers to Lucian as "girl pants". Wayne only cares about himself. Wayne visits a scrapyard nearby & regularly build things in his bedroom.

The father tries to suck up to the boss of the factory. The bosses daughter fancies Wayne.

The mother is fanatical about hygene & in one episode complained about the twins watching tv because "the noise interfeered with the harmony of her vaccum cleaning"! & then she paid the twins to go outside.

Does this place exist?

I haven't heard of it either. Maybe if you get it to record the sound you can put an episode on the net somewhere for all of us to download.

What I imagine is that Americans have about 158 channels all going yadda yadda at them. I imagine & know for a fact that at least some of you will be getting BBC. I think 8:15 am & 4:15 pm gmt is when the show is on. On BBC 1.

actually, shakti, we get BBCAmerica, which is an edited version of the BBC with no good shows whatsoever, they have all of the british home and garden shows that are pointless, and some of the less "offensive" sitcoms. When I was in Canada, the CBC was a lot better than any of the Bu...erm...crap channels that we have in the US. anyway, I have never heard of such a show, and it they tried to air it in the US, there would be parents carrying signs in front of the tv company telling them to stop poisoning our children's minds, GAWD I hate political correctness if everything was politically correct in this country, people would be genderless, ageless, and neutral, Snow White and the seven dwarves would be "A Person of no colour and the seven vertically challanged individuals"
anyway, I am done with the tangental shift

BTW, how old are you shakti?

Never heard of that show...of course the place does not exist. Literally, anyway. Yeah, there are problems, but that sounds like a grade-A satire

The home site for the show, at the UK's cartoon network is at:

and it has a lil trailer of the opening sequence to it, too...

I have something like 450 channels...and I do have BBC, but I never watch it anymore. I used to watch Are You Being Served? and Red Dwarf all the time, though.

Cheers dana.

My mac found the site not too palatable. What spec mac would handle the site in a decent manner?

I downloaded the mov & played it, non too well.

I need better sound.

I will just rummage my speakers out.

Red dwarf was excellent.

I am crap at titles & imagine that the title to this thread was not the best, but your all very touchy.

From the responses it appears that the UK may be being "used as an underground" by certain ppl in America who wish to bypass political correctness for thier talented work, Fantastic.

I wanted to quote bits in here but again the forum hasn't loaded all the other posts.

Thanks for the responses.
