I came to my computer to find that in the apple menu, the folder "control panels", did not have an arrow & did not automaticaly open the sub menu which is said folder.Does that make sense? I hope so. It used to just list the control panels. I believe my son to be responsible, the perpertrator. How can I make it revert back to the way it was? shaktiman Quadra 840av 128MB ram 2MB vram cd drive(caddy),1 caddy!:-)1.44 floppy drive,inject :-(1.2 gig drive

Try rebuilding your desktop, that fixes the same problem on my 2300c. If it keeps happening, you may have directory problems on the drive, IIRC.jt  ™.
