...so several months after I started, it's all together nicely now :)

My web server that is. It's been existing since April underneath a poor frames-based redirection, which basically meant you'd go to http://www.danamania.com/ which would load a page with one full-window frame, and put the real site (the one the quadra is) inside there.

Unfortunately it means it took effort to bookmark single pages inside the site (whether anyone would or not is another story, but it was bad anyway!), and search engines would crawl over and only see/list all of my pages at the not so appealing http://dana.kicks-ass.org/ address.

dyndns.org, who handle the kicks-ass.org side of things have the ability to do name serving on a REAL address like www.danamania.com if I paid them money. So I paid up, and now www.danamania.com is truly the lil quadra. I ping www.danamania.com and get 1 or 2ms pings *grin*

dana (alright so it's not THAT exciting, but it was my effort for the day!)

How much money are we talking? It could be something to do with the 68kmla.com domain...

kool. I always just type in danamania.com though, because its easier to remember, and besides, it still ends up that a certain little FeetsMac starts jamming data down the line to my lil iMac.

$30US as a once-off payment. You need to have control over the 68kmla.com domain enough to set which DNS servers it's served by, and enough control over www.literatureclassics.com's server to have it host 'www.68kmla.com' as a complete site on its own... which I can do with danamania.com but I dunno if you can with the literatureclassics server!

still looks great, maniac! got one suggestion tho, pitch the link to the LC PDS cards in a positive light, nothing available comes close the matching the pixel-pushing prowess of the microquadra's patented upgrade of the venerable pizzabox's battery powered video subsystem™
