Thank you Gentlemen:

Oldmacman:
I'll have to wait for the next printer since I missed the first one. Man are they cheap! I'll keep checking in on e-bay. I'll stay in touch with you on the drivers too!

Stryder:
Appreciate it! I'm going to go ahead and AB test the two screensavers to see which one I like better. I had problems fitting suitcase on a 1.4 meg floppie. Since I used that winimage file in the past, any file that I try and put on the Mac Formatted floppie using Macexchange, get's cut off. In other words, it won't fit. I'm assuming that the img format the windows needs to use it takes up too much room. Of course, I'm probably way wrong!!

Nightstalker:
I got a little far with Macexchange but got bundled up somewhere in the copying process. I can't fit everything on a Mac formatted floppie. It sees and writes to it, it just can't fit it all in. Until I get it figured out, I might be stuck with Kinkos after all! Thanks for the link. This is as far as I've ever gotten before. Hopefully soon, Kinkos with be a think of the past for what I'm using them for!!

Danny:
I'll give After Dark a shot! Thanks. You may have read that I'll be doing the Kikos copy deal until I get things straightened out. I can just grab it off your site, correct!? But I'll wait, you mentioned that you were looking for some controller.

YOu guys rule!!!!

No problem at all. If I have it , can find it, and someone needs it, I'll try to get it to them. We all got to stick together as I"m sure the Founders of the Forum would agree.

Try to find a SCSI card for the PC and a SCSI Zip drive so you can shuttle stuff back and forth, dunno what machine you're using, but it worked for me on an SE! It's kinda like Fast Sneakernet 100MBPT implementation. If the machines are next to each other (within a few meters actually) there's an A/B SCSI sharing switchbox hack somewhere in the forums that I posted with an ASCII art diagram for it, IIRC. *thinks: senility must be setting in, his memory is going! BLARG!!!*

Hey Danny,

It's me. Hoping that you had the opportunity of tracking down a version of After Dark that may work with 6.0.8.!

Other than that, I'm about to make a purchase for one of those printers HP Deskwriter printers on e-bay. I was wondering if I have to get one specifically for a Mac Classic (I've seen some described that way) or it doesn't make a difference and they're just confusing me?!!

Of to Kinkos on your mark!!

Take it easy!

Sure!!!

That would be great! Again, I would have to go to Kinkos and get it from there.

Would you be putting it on your website?

Thanks!

OR..........

Would it be easier for you to send it to me (I have a PC) save it to a PC disk, take it over to Kinkos, dump it onto one of their Macs, and then back to a Mac formatted floppy? Would that work? Would that be easier?

If it does, I'm at

Thanks !
