I'm trying to track down a copy of 2 great classic mac games. Anyone seen a copy of Thexder or Marble Madness lately?

I have marble madness on NES. That game is SO FRIGGIN GREAT!!! They made a sequel, Marble Man, but didn't release it because arcades were overwhelemed with Street Fighter clones at the time and it didn't get good responses from play testers. There are 2 known functioning consoles in the world, and guess who played them this saturday? Oh, yeah, me! Whoo! Anyone live in the bay area? You missed a killer pinball and arcade convention...

Anyway, it's worth checking the macintosh garden

Very cool. I'm so jealous. I used to live in SanFran, but movedback to Southern California a couple years ago, right before the internet bubble burst.

I miss it every day...

Where was the convention?

SJ convention center. There were tons of totally awesome games there. A few modern ones, like Rush and Puzzle Fighter, but most were '80-'92 or so. Awesome scene.

I just checked the macintosh garden for you. They don't have either. Too bad, I would have liked to play MM on the mac just to see how it compares.
