OK, here's a tough one...I've got a Mac LC to sell it is in perfect working order. Runs system 7. OK so far. But I took the lid off the fabulous pizza box last night and on the top of the hard drive is a cute Apple sticker and "160" on another label. What is that? IT couldnt mean it has 160MB size hard disk, could it? You have probably guessed that I'm a visitor from the land of PC...but necessity is the mother of invention and I have to sell this lot.

Thank you in advance for helping me. By the way if you are in Oz and interested in buying this LC, let me know.

DING DING DING!!

Give that woman a prize! she must be a Mac user at heart, or at least been infecteed by the dreaded (to 'Doze users anyways) Apple virus!

Yes in fact, that little sticker that sayys "160" means it has a 160MB hard drive. I'll also hazard a guess that the numbers are in red.

It's a (think hard) Quantum drive I'll bet. andd of course it's SCSI.

So, who are you selling it to? We DO have a trading post y'know...

Thank you marchie, glad to know theres a man of the cloth on board. You're right - it IS in red! and it is a quantum! Impressive!

I put a note on the trading post - most of you guys are stateside, am I right?

Heh, wasn't quite a shot in the dark considering Apple only used Quantum for their 160mb HDs for the LC series. Whats that model...perhaps Quantum "Pro Drive ELS"?
