Greetings. I’m in the process of getting my SE FD/ND and 840 back into working condition. Long story, but I’m sure I’ll be able to get the SE up and running soon!

What I can’t seem to find is software links for a number of the apps I want to run on the SE. In a nutshell I’m going to use the SE to store recipes and data on my herb/vegetable garden (text and .gifs). I’ve tried a number of "classic/vintage" sites, search engines, and even the company site when they’re still in business. But most of the links are dead, including what I’m sure would be a comprehensive list by "FireWire is Fast" (http://homepage.mac.com/mla68k/).

I’m looking for Mac Write II 1.1, FileMaker Pro 3, GIF Converter 2.4.3, and HyperCard 2.0. Any suggestions?

BTW – I have many more questions, but I hope to figure them out myself . . . don’t want to wear out my welcome.

I'm pretty sure that I have at least 3 out of four of those apps. As for GIFConverter, I don't use it anymore, but I was under the assumption that it was still freely available on tucows or CNET, etc? Anyway, perhaps you don't have high-speed web access, in which case I could make a floppy and mail it out to you. Let me know.

There's more. Send me an email, and I'll send you some links. Too lazy to type them all out. xx(

the link on the main forums page has not been changed to reflect the current status of our website:

http://homepage.mac.com/mla68k/indextext.html

don't yell at me for broken links! the website is still early in development. All we have: FAQ's and a barebones field supply list.

Thanks for bringing up a list of software, though. If people would send me links for old software they like/use/use to use (*ahem* Alien *ahem*) i can quickly make up a page of oldsoftware links. and add that to the 68k mla website

Oh yes and Tommy, this version of the website is text only for now...a nicer version will be introduced when this one is completed (hopefully in the near future)
