Well, I finally got some time to look over the load of Macs I got from my Freedom Run. What I found was not exactly encouraging, but at least all of the 68k's work!I told the guy that gave them to me that I would make an attempt to give them away before they go into the trash. I don't know any other Mac-heads around here, so I offer them up to you. Note: None of these have Hard drives or CD's. Here is a list of everything that's free(except shipping)! 6100/60 -- Case, MoBo, Floppy, Blank CD Bezel. Missing: P/S, PRAM, RAM, Cables, and Feets. 6100/60av -- Case, P/S, Floppy, Tray CD Bezel only. No Feets 6100/60 -- Case, MoBo, Floppy, Blank CD Bezel, P/S. Missing: PRAM, RAM, Cables. 6100/60 -- Case, MoBo, Floppy, P/S. Missing: PRAM, RAM, Cables, CD Bezel. Performa 6115CD -- Case, MoBo, P/S, Floppy, Tray CD Bezel, Cache. Missing: PRAM, RAM, Cables. Performa 6115CD -- Case, MoBo, P/S, Floppy, Tray CD Bezel. Missing: PRAM, RAM, Cables. WGS 6150/66 -- Case, MoBo, P/S, Floppy, Tray CD Bezel. Missing: PRAM, RAM, ROM, Cables. If you really like the 61xx PM's, here you go. ------------------ MacMoose Benevolent Genius, 68k MLA Total 68K Macs liberated: 22 and counting ------------------

If there is another a/v card, or anything of that sort, or if thelip doesnt want his (oh yeah, THAT will happen , hehe) I'd gladly take one. Also, is there any RAM above 16 MB? I'd gladly take some of that, even pay for it (yes i know you said free, i just feel cheap when i don't pay) ~The Penguin | Captain, Intelligence Operations / Space Cowboy | There is only one path and that is the path that you take, but you can take more than one path. 68k.torpedobird.com <-- Hotline Server |

Alas, there was no RAM in any of these machines, other than onboard RAM. ------------------ MacMoose Benevolent Genius, 68k MLA Total 68K Macs liberated: 22 and counting ------------------

I don't think it's worth splitting one up for me, but if you end up with a spare tray CD-bezel (and RF sheild) and an internal SCSI cable, let me know.Thanks... <<<john>>> |

To thelip, you should know that the 6100/60av is nothing more than an empty shell, but if you want that let me know.To maceo and jruschme, I have the parts you requested sitting aside, and will update my list sometime this week. I am very busy this week, and may not have time to respond quickly, but send me your address, and we can finish this up in e-mail. ------------------ MacMoose Benevolent Genius, 68k MLA Total 68K Macs liberated: 22 and counting ------------------

Wait, Thelip said he couldn't get the 6100 he asked for, so he said that I could scrounge out the AV card. Does it even have an AV card, you said it was an empty case...?~The Penguin | Captain, Intelligence Operations / Space Cowboy | There is only one path and that is the path that you take, but you can take more than one path. | 68k.torpedobird.com <-- Official Hotline Server

I'm sorry, but there is no A/V module. Just a shell that says 6100/60av...nothing more. ------------------ MacMoose Benevolent Genius, 68k MLA Total 68K Macs liberated: 22 and counting ------------------

Do you know which AV card it is? I'd be willing to buy it if it has both s-vid in and s-vid out capabilities, so that I cna hook it up to a TV (well my home thatre but yeah...). I can *hopefully* find an angle bracket so yeah, I'm interested.~The Penguin | Captain, Intelligence Operations / Space Cowboy | There is only one path and that is the path that you take, but you can take more than one path. | 68k.torpedobird.com <-- Official Hotline Server

Sorry, fellas, but everything is gone now. Due to lack of interest, I put everything on the curb Monday morning. However, before the garbage man came, the Macs mysteriously grew legs (to go with the feets). They might still be alive somewhere, just not here. ------------------ MacMoose Benevolent Genius, 68k MLA Total 68K Macs liberated: 22 and counting ------------------

It looks to be the standard x100 AV card- just the card.Haven't tested it, but it was traded to me as working, so I'll DOA guarantee it. Drop me a note in email and we'll talk details. <<<john>>> |

WGS 6150/66 -- Case, MoBo, P/S, Floppy, Tray CD Bezel. Missing: PRAM, RAM, ROM, Cables. How easy is it to find ROM chips for these computers and estimated price? Don't go looking, if anyone knows from experience post, but don't waste your time. I'm interested in this bugger assuming that it has a HD with Apple's Server Software on it. So, I guess I should turn my assumption into a question. Does it have a HD with Apple's Server software on it? If you can't tell don't worry. If it has a HD and you don't know bout the software, I'm still interested. quote:

Don't I feel like an idiot. Well, my interest just went out the window. Sorry. ________________ foetoid, that's (fee-toy-d) http://www.foetoid.doesntexist.com Edited by - foetoid on 20 Sep 2002 04:45:16 |
