I'm thinking about trying to nab this thing because the only thing I can imagine a card with VRAM and no connector on the backplane would be good for is coprocessing for one of the VidCap cards in my NuBus menagerie.

Has anybody got a better idea? 1990 seems a little too early (like 3 years!) for it to be a copro for one of the AV macs. WTF is it?

The only other possibilities I could come up with would be a VRAM/Quickdraw Accelerator to implement the important stuff Apple left out of the pathetic built in Video circuitry on the IIci, or it's another case of eBay mis-identification!

From what little we know, I can only guess that it's one of those QuickDram G-World RAM accelerator thingos for onboard video?

I'm almost 100% sure that that's what it is!

Don't know about SuperMac, but my RasterOps card works using 30 pin SIMMs...
