WARNING! NON-68K TOPIC!

but Apple doesn't carry these things--no 'legacy' products, I was told. (!)

The battery in my daughter's blueberry iBook (first model, 300mHz) died. I've got a couple of leads, but these batteries seem awfully expensive ($100 - $150). Anybody got better sources?

http://www.pbparts.com/store/agora.cgi?product=_i&keywords=_g

I bnought one there around a year agoand it worked fine. The price has gone up $30 since then though... Well at any rate they have them if all else fails.

Edit: ERRR sorry misread the original topic (its $99) I'll look for better deals though.
