Alert! Check out this DealMac thread:

http://dealmac.com/forums/read.html?f=1&i=853484&t=853484

A high school is throwing out 60 LCs, Quadras, and other old Macs. Dunno where, but the poster could be queried.

Time for a rescue!

Good work, but it looks like it's in Baltimore, which is a no-go for me. Maybe some of our Eastern Seaboard soldiers can help?

Baltimore? The creator of the thread on dealmac said Madison, Wisconsin. I think our closest operative is Marchie, over in Michigan.

ino! i wouldn't be surprised if fw or ~coxy or somebody else has a link to it that i've seen on their homepage before, it's just that there's a thread on MAF that i'd read a few minutes before and it really floored me this time!

Wow that thread was the most twisted and odd discussion i think i've ever heard!

I pray to God that we never have that person or any thread like that here.

Wow, that dude is messed up majorly. The funny in it is he seems to know less about IQ tests, what they mean, and what's on them than someone who supposedly took it would. It's like putting a G4 processor in a old Commadore PET computer, (in theory, of course). You'd have a speed without any idea of what to use it for. Sad, sad kid.

I presume that was meant in jest, considering how this thread has degenerated.
