Apple is the better(IMHO) computer, so it has got to upset that Atari & Amiga both got 68060 & we missed out?

Anyhow here is the new computer I intend to design & build.

a Quadra 860av

4 * 68060 cpu( to be tasked independantly by a simpler controller chip, a kind of cpu manager)

& all the other rubbish, erm such as 1 gig memory, support for v.large hd's.

Tower case(similar design to 840av just extended)

support for 10 nubus cards.

I saw an ebay auction for a 1.2 mb hard drive...................hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha........bonk!

theoretically can I connect....

a monitor to the monitor port, a monitor to the stereo video out port, a monitor to the composite video out port & a monitor to my nubus video card.

Giving me a total of 4 monitors.

if you can get the 060 onto a Nubus, or nonintrusive PDS card... in order for it to control some other foreign process of some sort... who knows, maybe you can engineer an entire "Mac on a board" with a platinum, more OS8 version of A/UX that works on the 75MHz FPU equipped 68060, this, is of course reliant on the host macs I/0, but it would be cool all the same, then you can manufacture several "nonindependant" versions... like ther 10 slot super workstation, a 6 slot 4 SCSI bus server, and a little home/business DT like the IIsi, with 2 full slots 1 scsi controller.

hehehe, media center... powerful
