I have a Qu840av. This ort" serial port which allows me to transfer data at up to 250 kbps(I think thats the number). Netscape is working a bit better for me at the moment & I am sometimes getting reports of 700 bytes per second & 900 bytes per second being downloaded. Netscape still freezes sometimes. at this time servers are often trying to send me data, but due to a Netscape(how can I put this) thinking moment(pregnant pause?, derr moment, spasm, freeze)my computer tells the server "no wait I am busy" the server then serves someone else & when Netscape finishes it's spasm it then contacts the server again & then waits for the server to serve it(the server being non too keen on Quadras that play pranks, calling them up but then hiding from them).Can I get/does there exist, can somone/I create, a cache in this fashion, data downloaded immediatley goes into cache(constructed of fast ram?)Netscape then retrieves data from cache. shaktiman Quadra 840av 128MB ram 2MB vram cd drive(caddy),1 caddy!:-)1.44 floppy drive,inject :-(1.2 gig drive
