it seems apropriate that I put my problems here too

I've got a 6100, powers up, HD spins up, but no tone, no video,


my PB100 doesn't display a thing
on occation I can get it to make the tone, boot and play the little eep sound that it makes when youdidn't shut it down right.

Have you tried replacing the PRAM battery? Those sound like dead PRAM batt symptoms to me!

all my macs have badd PRAM batts, it's something that never gets fixed because of funding, and time. Don't have time to go to RePC in seattle and get new(er) ones

I find that removing the (main) battery helps stubborn PB's boot.
