I've almost finished a long term project of mine - a Powerbook 180 (complete with Japanese keyboard) that had a dead drive and flat PRAM battery. The HD was eassy enough to replace, but the PRAM was a fiddley solder job and I was putting off doing it, which is why it's taken me six months to get around to it!
At the moment the 180 happily installing System 7.5.3 and there doesn't appear to be any problems except for one thing - there's no sound! I think I might have something pushed up against the speaker, and seeing as I havn't put all the screws in yet it's probably not suprising (I've just thrown it togther to see if everything was working) Fingers crossed all will be well when I've finally finished....
The owner of this PowerBook is a Japanese language teacher, but alas she has lost the kanji keyboard/font disks. Does anyone know where I might obtain this from? Do I also need to install a japanese OS? Any help appreciated.

cheers
