Could I share the resources off of my Power Mac by connecting it to my PC Network? It's currently running OS9 atm, which is slow as hell. (I don't have a copy of 8.x :()

Kinda depends on what your PC network consists of, and what Windoze (or other) operating system you are running... if you've got Win2K Pro or XP then it's fairly easy, you may get something going with Win98 too. Other than that you are only really looking at FTP if either the Mac or the PC are set up as a FTP server.
