Liberating a Mac is basicly taking a Mac from one place (school, thrift shop, eBay) by way of legal ownership transfer (purchase, given to you for free, trade) to be placed back into active service byt either yourself or another person------------------ Captain Z - Sniper 68K Macintosh Liberation Army 17 68K Macs Liberated |

To liberate a 68k Mac is to rescue it. As shocking as it may sound, there are people who think that old means useless. They may abuse these poor machines (schools are a prime oppressor here) they may even try to get rid of them altogether (cf. my parents). Our duties here, as loyal soldiers of the MLA, is to make sure that these outdated, yet useful, machines are taken from those who don't appreciate their value and relegate them to a position inferior to the one they should rightfully have.
