I bought the converter for the aaui port, but the internet runs like it is on dialup, I think even slower... Are there any hacks or tweaks I can do to make this puppy hum? I am running 8.6 with ie 5.1. I am happy with a little faster then dial up just for kicks, the system seems to hang. Help

Hmmmm...
I dunno- since I've used my 7100/80 on ethernet many times with no probs, I'm thinking that your software could be FUBAR- what OS are you running? What is your system config? What kinda network are you using?
More info would help us help you!
Good luck,

converter for the aaui port

I think that's your problem, a converter won't increase the port speed, just allows another device to attach there.
