I bought the converter for the aaui port, but the internet runs like it is on dialup, I think even slower... Are there any hacks or tweaks I can do to make this puppy hum? I am running 8.6 with ie 5.1. I am happy with a little faster then dial up just for kicks, the system seems to hang. HelpEdited by - TiMacLover on 11 Aug 2002 21:00:13 |

Hmmmm... I dunno- since I've used my 7100/80 on ethernet many times with no probs, I'm thinking that your software could be FUBAR- what OS are you running? What is your system config? What kinda network are you using? More info would help us help you! Good luck, SpaceBoyAppleBASIC FOREVER! converter for the aaui port
I think that's your problem, a converter won't increase the port speed, just allows another device to attach there. "One slip and down the hole we fall" |
