Anyone know where I might find the first version of the Barney Blaster After Dark module? I believe it was version 1.0.1I've located version 2.0.2, but it really doesn't compare... Karl Bunker / Iron Software used to freely distribute this, but threats of legal action from the creators of Barney scared them off. 1.2? http://www.igregs.com/downloads/they've got another one that mentions "kill barney" which was the original purple.mayhem.ware, IIRC. dunno if this is it. jt  ™.

Thanks for the response, but that wasn't quite what I was after.Finally located it, though. If anyone else is interested, it is currently available here: ftp://ftp.meiji.ac.jp/mirror/MAC/info-mac/rec/barney-blaster-101.hqx This mirror seems to have a number of files that have been deleted from the main info-mac site.

Also look for "Barney Carnage." That was some fine mouse practice and stress release. Oh yes. Barney blaster...wasn't that an asterix clone? Same game exactly, with different sprites, right? Maybe it's a different one, but look for that too! It was a good game above and beyond the barney killing thing{ candyPunk }
