I didn't know if i should put this in the trade/buy/sell section or here. i'll stick with here:

Where can I get an ethernet card for my SE? I'm sure i've seen or heard of them before, but i wasn't even sure if they existed. Does anybody here have one or know where I could get one? Thanks.

p.s. Would the card for the IIsi and Se/30 work?

AFAIK, there were SE PDS Ethernet cards, but they're apparently pretty rare. I know that you can't use a IIsi card, but a SE/30 card might possibly work.

i really doubt it, the SE/30 and IIsi cards are nearly identical and the Asante cards can be set up to run on either. i can't imagine an 030 PDS card running on an SE, finding an SE/30 board and NIC makes a lot more sense to me.

if i had a 68000 PDS NIC i'd hack an adapter and try it in my Portable!

Check ebay, they had them. Also you could always get a SCSI ethernet card.

I have an HDI-30 scsi Ethernet adaptor for my PB 100, I just haven't confirmed whether either of them works yet, if you were aboe to find an adaptor to go from the mac's 25pin scsi port to the female end of the HDI30, I know that this one from Farallon would probably work

My SE (The Beast, my original Mac and computer) has both an accelorator card and an ethernet card in it (NOT easy to set up... took me months)

The SE/30 card will NOT work. Cards for an SE will ONLY work in an SE. The SCSI idea is a good one, although the Farralon idea probably won't work. The SCSI systems between Powerbooks and SE's are not always compatible, and finding such a cable is likely to be impossible. I have an Asante SCSI Ethernet adapter, and I can say that it works well.
