Anyone know of a good place to get replacement cells and how to re-cell a Duo Type I and Duo Type III battery?

Now this won't hurt a bit. Until I jam this thing down your throat!

Replacement cells are not a good idea do Powerbook batteries. First of all, even if you can get replacement cells, and fully reassemble the housing with new cells, it is not 100% guarrentieed to work. If you do do this, there is also a higher risk of shorting out the battery, and a good possibility of the Duo also.

This is something that no one should try. But if they have nothing to lose, it's your Duo's funeral.

I've just sent one of my batts off to a professional 're-celler', we'll see what happens.

I did that to my 1400 battery. The machine now doesn't see that there is a battery in there for some reason.
