Replacement cells are not a good idea do Powerbook batteries. First of all, even if you can get replacement cells, and fully reassemble the housing with new cells, it is not 100% guarrentieed to work. If you do do this, there is also a higher risk of shorting out the battery, and a good possibility of the Duo also. This is something that no one should try. But if they have nothing to lose, it's your Duo's funeral. ------------------ Captain Z - Sniper 68K Macintosh Liberation Army 17 68K Macs Liberated |

I've just sent one of my batts off to a professional 're-celler', we'll see what happens.~Coxy - Leader, Tactical Operations Unit 68k Macintosh Liberation Army (now with forums!) 00013 Macs liberated. |

I did that to my 1400 battery. The machine now doesn't see that there is a battery in there for some reason. --------------------------
